Bugs / FAQ / Suggestions

Introducing the major combination post, dealing with site bugs, frequently asked questions (that have yet to be asked), and suggestions. Hello and welcome to a world of efficiency.

BUGS

–> Okay, now. Everybody knows that nobody is totally perfect, and every system has its flaws. Ours included. If you spot something seriously wrong, or are having trouble with getting a particular something to work, please don’t hesitate to tell us. You may not be the only one, and it’d definitely be doing us a favor. We want to make this the best experience possible, and technical glitches don’t exactly fit that bill.

–> Depending on the type of problem, title your comment accordingly. If all download links to a project have gone kaput, say something like “XXX Downloads Down” (don’t bother telling us if only one is broken, there are plenty others to choose from). If links in a directory are broken, say something like “Directory Faulty” and tell us which one isn’t working for you. If it’s something not covered here, definitely mention it and give us a shout!

Frequently Asked Questions

–> What is oofuriLOVE?

(See our ABOUT page, please.)

–> How do I go about using this site?

There’s no obvious method, but it really would have to depend on what you’re looking for. If you’re new to the whole OOFURI thing, then be sure to check out Series Information for, well, the background facts on Ookiku Furikabutte as well as some extra goodies like character profiles and school snapshots. You can also find links to all of the anime episodes and manga chapters. Cool, huh?

But if that’s an old hat to you, why not go grab yourself some fanservice? We don’t just provide you with a healthy dosage of fact but with a counterbalance of fiction. You can go explore the wide variety of links we provide to fangroups, communities, and fanfiction. Or you could simply just hop on over to our Project Directory and peruse the ever-growing hoard of doujinshi scanlated by us or other groups (we’ve been given permission to host them).

Once you’ve picked out a doujinshi, just keep its title in mind and head over to the Download Directory. Click on its title and you’ll be navigated to a page with all its mirror links. Enjoy. Any doujinshi rated PG13+ will have a password, but never fear! The password is right on the project’s information page, one easily-accessible click away from the Project Directory. We do this not to be obnoxious sticklers, but to make sure some of our… ahem, more underage viewers (or those in a working environment) know just what they’re getting into. Use the password there to unlock the download entry.

It isn’t one hundred percent for certain, but we’re looking into getting some direct downloads and rotating them. We’ll see.

Suggestions

–> Got a brilliant idea you’d care to share with us? Go ahead. We’re most certainly willing to accept advice on our layout (our poor coordinator is not too saavy) in addition to graphics. Later on we’ll be expanding our share of buttons and banners and fun clickable things for anyone to link to us with, should they choose.

–> Have RAWs? If you want to donate them to us, we’d be eternally grateful, but if you aren’t the scanner, please either obtain permission for their use or point us over so we can ask for you. If you’ve got a translation for them, that’s fine too. Also, we’d love to participate in any joint projects you might care for! Inquire by leaving a comment here first, and our coordinator will get back to you soon.

  5. Hello!

    I Kana_chan.

I come here to ask your permission to translate your work into Spanish.

I come on behalf of Blogg -Private- AmaiChudoku, although I have a LJ account.

We respect all your rules and that is why, now we come to you.

We’ve gotten permission for large Scanlation, and we get the most possible permissions.

Our fansub has good quality and is well known in the Spanish world, I want you to know so you can see that if you give us permission, the quality of your work will be just as good in Spanish ^ ^

Thank you very much for your time.

    ~ Kana

  6. “Tensai Batter wa first kiss no Yume o Miru ka” has absolutely no functioning links at the moment; they’r ALL down. So I just wanted to report a “Directory Faulty” as you called it. If you take the time to fix this; thank you for that, I’m really thankful that there are people around and setting out doujinshi links like u guys ^^ Especially for Oofuri (and Tajihana).

  7. All mirrors for Goodbye Days are down

  8. Is it still possible to have “Sunlight House, Moonlight Home” re-uploaded? :)
